All About Telemedicine: Telehealth

What is Telemedicine or Telehealth?

The new version of a house call! Telehealth and telemedicine just means that you can have a visit with the doctor, or care provider, using your telephone, tablet, computer – or any device that allows for two-way video communication.

Sometimes parents of children schedule wellness exams with one of our care providers but prefer to stay home. We have learned to use the power of technology to adjust to these requests.

Even before Covid-19 (Corona Virus), Dr. Marin began to offer telehealth for some of her patients living in rural communities.

That’s why we were ready for this post-pandemic era with already installed technology to see our patients.
